I worked for 7 years as an exploration geologist travelling extensively across Northern Australia and South Australia, utilising both GIS and GPS technologies. I have also worked for QDNR (State Water) based at Bundaberg conducting groundwater surveys in the sugarcane growing regions.

On leaving Queensland, I joined the Federal Government working for the Department of Defence as a terrain analyst, followed by Departments of Environment, Infrastructure and Regional Australia working as a GIS specialist.

I live in Mareeba with my family and enjoy photography, Africa, lapidary and fossicking
